The manufacturer Institute METRON provides an extended, limited warranty that goes beyond the statutory warranty obligations and assures the original purchaser for a period of three years for charging cables and adapters and two years for charging stations from the date of purchase that any defective product will be repaired or replaced.

To be eligible for repair or replacement under this warranty, the product in question must be returned to METRON within the warranty period, and the end user must comply with the following conditions:

• The product has not been modified or altered by an unauthorized person.
• The product was used according to the operating instructions.

The limited warranty does not cover the following:

• Damage due to improper use.
• Accidental or intentional damage.
• Replacement of the included battery and functional limitations that have occurred due to its failure.
• Misuse, neglect, corrosion, or negligence.
• Products damaged by severe natural events such as excessive hailstorms, lightning strikes, tornadoes, floods, ice or other natural events.
• Damage due to improper packaging during return shipping.

This warranty does not cover external labor costs for troubleshooting, removal, or replacement of the product, and METRON will not assume these costs. All shipping costs associated with repair or replacement of the product must be paid in advance by the original end user.

For goods purchased in this webshop (www.metron-shop.de) or directly from Metron Deutschland GmbH, warranty processing is handled by Metron Deutschland GmbH on behalf of the manufacturer Institute METRON.

The extended warranty applies to all adapters and cables purchased from Metron from 2024 onwards (product groups: CC, CS, AC & V2L).
